Position Overview: Mortgage Loan Processor
Required Skills
Minimum of 3 years of residential mortgage loan processing experience
Proven track record of high-quality loan production while managing a substantial client base
Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management abilities to meet loan closing deadlines
High level of customer service orientation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
Demonstrated success in achieving both individual and team goals in a high-volume production environment
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end order services process, including requesting, reviewing, and verifying critical loan processing documents (e.g., title and insurance)
Clear processing conditions within the loan operating system, including items related to insurance, collateral, disclosures, and title
Review and validate title and insurance documentation in accordance with internal guidelines
Act as the primary liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, setting clear expectations and timelines for documentation related to lender-side conditions (e.g., title, appraisal, homeowner’s insurance)
Monitor and maintain a personal loan pipeline to ensure loan cycle times align with client expectations
Track loan status through closing, ensuring all documents remain current and compliant
Work independently and proactively, applying strong problem-solving skills and a high level of execution
