Job Description
The New Star Family Center’ Prevention Program Manager, provides oversight and coordination of daily activities for effective program execution.
PROGRAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Continuously develop and improve prevention services, activities and curriculum
Directly facilitating prevention services with youth
Interact with school officials on all levels to implement program
Conduct training for all prevention staff
Supervise activities of prevention program assistants and support staff
Responsible for data collection, tracking students’ outcomes and grant reporting
Build connections with families and community stakeholders
Attend scheduled events and conferences.
Develop and implement Camp HOPE for youth
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in scheduled staff meetings and staff in-service trainings.
Attend development training as required and completing other duties as assigned.
Hold in confidence all organization and client-related information

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1year experience working with youth programming
Prior experience in a management position
Ability to interact well with diverse persons, organizations and groups.
Must be able to travel out of state for some conferences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bi Lingual Spanish / English a plus
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree. Must complete the 40-Hrs victim advocate training within first 2 months of employment and secure Victim Service Provider certification.
