Position Title: Laser Operator

Location: Northeast Atlanta Metropolitan Area

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser cutting machines, with a preference for experience with Amada lasers. The Laser Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut metal parts according to specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating laser cutting machines.

Experience with Amada laser cutting machines is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform routine maintenance.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in laser operation or related field.

Experience in the metal fabrication industry.
