Systems Engineer (SME)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactiveSystems Engineer (SME)to support our team inHuntsville, AL. In this role, you will supervise, coordinate, and perform system modifications, maintenance, upgrades, and support critical infrastructure systems used by our defense and intelligence clients.

In this role, you will:

Supervise, coordinate, and perform additions, modifications, and upgrades to systems and networks.

Ensure system performance, availability, and integration of hardware and software systems.

Perform root cause analysis for system issues and propose effective solutions.

Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, and software teams to align system configurations with mission goals.

Document system configurations, procedures, and updates.

If you're suitable for this role, you have:

10+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT operations, or related fields.

Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Active Directory.

Experience troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise-level IT infrastructure.

Familiarity with VMware vSphere, virtualization technologies, and networking fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Experience with VMware vSphere 7, Cisco Networking, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Microsoft SQL Server

Understanding of NIST NICE Work Roles such as Systems Administration (IO-WRL-005), Network Administration (IO-WRL-006), and Network Operations (IO-WRL-007)
