Currently hiring Laser Tech Operators in Itasca

JOB SUMMARY:

Operators are responsible for set-up and operation of laser cutting machines to produce products

meeting customer quality requirement. Operators must also operate and process parts according

to print and traveler requirements. Operators must monitor machine cutting performance and

utilization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Laser Operator should have experience performing the following tasks –

Load raw material onto laser using forklift.

Clean laser cutting head.

Change cutting nozzles.

Nozzle alignment

Pull up programs to laser cut.

Adjust laser cutting parameters to get a quality cut part.

Read engineering prints.

Inspect parts to print.

Unload laser cut parts.

Work in other production areas when there is no laser work.

Maintain clean organized work area.

Able to speak English.
