WHAT YOU WILL DO:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Field Technician to join our fast-growing team. In this client-facing role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems across various sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
AV Installation & Field Support
Install, test, and commission AV/VC equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, video bars, and control systems
Terminate and test a wide variety of cable types (HDMI, Cat6, fiber, etc.) and associated connectors (solder, crimp, compression)
Rack-build, cable manage, and label hardware to a high standard
Perform site surveys and report on project readiness and hardware needs
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve AV system faults, network connectivity issues, and hardware failures
Provide deskside support and break/fix services for AV endpoints and control systems
Perform preventative maintenance checks and make recommendations for improvement
Client Interaction & Reporting
Serve as the face of EOS onsite, maintaining professionalism and clear communication at all times
Work closely with project managers, site leads, and clients to ensure installation quality and timelines
Document site progress and provide daily updates including photos, as-builts, and system verification
Travel & Adaptability
Travel regularly to customer sites, including occasional international assignments
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or modified schedules based on project needs
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Previous experience in AV/VC installation or field service work (1–3 years preferred)
Strong technical knowledge of AV components, systems integration, and signal flow
Ability to read AV system drawings, cable schedules, and construction documents
Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and eligibility to travel domestically and internationally
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
Industry certifications (e.g., AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS) are a strong plus
Familiarity with conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet
Experience working in commercial construction or live event environments
Passion for technology and customer experience
