CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, reading technical drawings, and performing precise measurements. They should also possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and written instructions.

Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.

Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance and maintain tolerances.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to improve processes and resolve production issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in CNC machining or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring tools.

Familiarity with various CNC machine tools and controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas).

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills, including experience with CAD/CAM software.

Full-time
