Twin City Staffing can help you connect with a leading manufacturer of precision metal stampings, washers, spacers, and shims. They have over 100 years of experience in the industry. Location: Minneapolis, MN

Wage: $30/hr.

Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the tool and die maker:

Plans, designs, constructs, or repairs a wide variety of intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, gauges, fixtures, to close tolerances.

Selects allowances and devises mechanism detail.

Performs difficult tool room machine operations. This includes CAD/KEY, CNC lathe and other technologies (as these technologies exist or arise) required to perform tool room operations.

Works from complicated drawings and sketches.

Use advanced shop mathematics and all types of precision measuring instruments.

Requirements of the tool and die maker:

Toolmaker: die toolmaker forming dies; semi-permanent dies; and completing layout work. 4 years (Preferred)

Familiar with short run stamping tooling through progressive dies

High degree of experience and trade skill and thorough knowledge of machine shop practice.
