Project Estimator

Job Description

Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand project scope and requirements.

Collaborate proactively with the Sales Team, Project Engineers, Suppliers, and Customers to gather pricing information, ensuring competitive project estimates.

Analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.

Conduct in-depth research on materials, labor requirements, equipment, and other cost parameters to optimize project budgets.

Conduct site visits, when necessary, to gather information on project conditions.

Develop and manage pricing models for various project types.

Support Sales Engineers in the preparation of submittals.

Assist in preparing project budgets and financial forecasts based on estimates.

Monitor market trends, including material costs and labor rates.

Manage projects, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.

Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and recommend mitigation strategies.

Review contracts to safeguard the company's interests and project requirements.

Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Seek opportunities to improve estimating processes and methodologies.
