Job Description

The Processing Supervisor is responsible for the effective scheduling, coordination, and supervision of the Hot Wheel Line, Mold Repair and Inspection, and Finishing operations on a designated shift. This role ensures production requirements and objectives are met efficiently and safely. The position reports directly to the Processing Manager.

Processing Supervisor Duties:

Supervise and direct the daily operations of the Hot Wheel Line, Mold Repair and Inspection, and Finishing departments.

Schedule and coordinate production activities to meet established targets and timelines.

Monitor and ensure adherence to quality control standards, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols within the supervised areas.

Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and address any operational issues.

Contribute to and potentially manage small capital projects within the processing departments.

Oversee Non-Destructive Testing procedures as required.

Manage tooling processes and ensure proper maintenance.

Train, coach, and evaluate team members to optimize performance.

Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Processing Supervisor Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field is desired.

Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methodologies.

Strong understanding of tooling processes and maintenance.

Proven experience in Quality Control principles, including SPC.

Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Familiarity with maintenance practices in a manufacturing setting.

Experience with the management of small capital projects is a plus.Company Description
