As a Material Tester, you will support our CM team. We anticipate that this role will be fulltime (4o hours) throughout the summer and then transition to part-time in the fall.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?
Work within a team of construction managers, office managers, inspectors, testers and surveyors to successfully complete the construction of projects
Perform field sampling and testing, and perform laboratory testing per UDOT and other agency procedures and processes
Complete test reports and documentation per UDOT and other agency requirements for all testing performed
Work alongside UDOT construction crews or other agency construction management personnel in an augmentation role
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
0-2 years of experience
Certification under American Concrete Institute (ACI) as Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I, preferred
Certification under WAQTC SRDT guidelines for Sampling and Density (SRDT)
Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with clients and multi-
Willingness to work either day or night shift discipline team members.
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
