Purchasing Intern

Job Description

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly

Location: In Office Auburn, WA

Wage Scale: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Assisting purchasing department with a variety of tasks including not limited to:

Creating product and part records in SAP.

Updating supplier information including acknowledgements and confirmation records.

Updating pricing, including maintaining MSRP pricing folders.

Monitoring and creating reports on delayed or missing parts.

Receiving and verifying purchase orders for accuracy.

Create and distribute daily reports.

Assisting with creating documentation.

Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

Currently enrolled or recently graduated within the past 2 years with either an associate's or bachelor’s degree with an emphasis or concentrations in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience utilizing excel and other MS Office applications.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills.
