Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java (preferably Java 11+)

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-performance applications

• Implement APIs and integrations with third-party platforms (ERP, CRM, etc.)

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement efforts

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term fixes

• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

• Mentor junior developers and lead by example in adopting modern engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java development

• Strong understanding of OOP, multithreading, REST APIs, and microservices architecture

• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)

• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed systems

• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP or legal/professional services domain is a plus

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, or React) is a bonus

• Agile/Scrum experience in a product development environment
