Caliber Manufacturing, a machining company in De Pere, WI, has openings for CNC mill machinists.

Job Summary

Caliber is looking for experienced machinists to join our team on the first shift, Monday – Thursday: 10-hour shifts OR Monday – Friday: 8-hour shifts to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Programming, set up and machine operation, often running 2 machines simultaneously

Produce parts to print holding tight tolerances on Mazak VMC or HMC

Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers, and other measuring tools and devices, first-part run and sample workpiece

Communicate with supervisor, programmer, quality control, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues

Maintain cleanliness throughout work area

Qualifications and Skills

Technical degree/certificate and 1-2 years of experience, OR 4-5 years of machining experience in a Job Shop

REQUIRED: Experience programing parts at the machine using Mazatrol

Strong blueprint reading and math skills including metric to imperial conversion

Knowledge of manufacturing process, CNC machining, machine tooling and fixturing, set-up, and preventative maintenance

Detail oriented and consistent

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds

Able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and walking, along with bending, twisting, pushing and pulling

All personal protective equipment must be worn when necessary (i.e. safety shoes, glasses, etc.)
