Description:
Pro Resources is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler for a local cabinet company located in Ft. Wayne, IN. This position requires proficiency in using hand and power tools to assemble high-quality cabinets for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints and instructions.
Shift: 1st shift 6am-4:30pm Monday- Thursday
Pay: $19.00-21.00hr
Key Responsibilities:
spray booth painting experience.
Assemble cabinets and related components using hand and power tools, ensuring all pieces are securely and accurately put together.
Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and written instructions to ensure proper assembly.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials as needed, adhering to precise specifications.
Ensure all components are properly fitted and aligned, making adjustments as necessary.
Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and drawer slides.
Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
Safely operate hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, hammers, drills) and power tools (e.g., saws, routers, sanders).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in cabinet assembly, woodworking, or carpentry is preferred.
Strong proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and written instructions.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
