Get to Know Your Team: Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is an 83-bed acute care hospital offering services such as Cardiology, Emergency Services and a Level IV Trauma Designated ER, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Total Joint Replacement, Gastroenterology, Diagnostic Services, and more.

ResponsibilitiesThe Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language therapy.Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patientEducate and counsel patients and families regarding treatment plansMaintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendationsPlan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services.

Provide information regarding appropriate support programsPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications Job Requirements:Master's degreeCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA)Current Speech-Language Pathology license from the Texas Department of State Health ServicesBasic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Job Requirements:Two (2) years of SLP experience
