Bilingual Account Manager - permanent – $80K + bonus
LOCATION: Montreal, Quebec
TERRITORY: Eastern Canada / Quebec
Qualifications:
• Business Administration or Marketing post-secondary education an asset ; will consider others with right experience
• 3+ years of experience in B2B field sales selling to businesses
• Experience with chemical industry / product sales
• Strong background with CRM and MS Office applications
• Able to build collaborative relationships and work as part of a team
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Confident and self-directed
• Commitment to deadlines, taking initiative and solving problems consistently
• Fluent in English and French
Requirements:
• Provide technical assistance and training to company Sales Representatives, distributors, agents, customers and prospects
• Keep customers informed of new products
• Promote use of company products to customers and prospects
• Generate sales leads, through relationships with prospects and customers, for company sales force
• Assist in the planning, preparation, setting up, and manning of trade show exhibits
• Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
• Analyze the territory / market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to the organization
• Identify advantages and compare organization’s products / services
• Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory / segment
• Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through reading pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
• Report sales activities, mileage, and expenses on a regular and timely basis
• Improve technical and selling skills through continuous education
• Continually improve personal knowledge of our markets, including applications, equipment, materials, and competition
