Job Description

HiFyve is hiring an Automation Technician in the manufacturing industry in Grandview, MO!

Salary: $35$40/hour

Shift: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

Location: Grandview, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated equipment, robotics, and support systems within the manufacturing facility

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliable and safe operation of automation systems

Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime

Program and adjust PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems as needed

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components of automation equipment

Document all repairs, modifications, and maintenance activities accurately

Provide technical support and training to production staff on automation equipment use

Assist in the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical training or certifications in automation, industrial maintenance, robotics, or related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred)

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams

Hands-on experience with robotics integration and maintenance

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
