Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 Annual Salary
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Work setting: In-person
Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Company Overview: Savas Health is a leading provider of transdisciplinary pain management patient care and is launching electronic health record (EHR) software focused on coordinating multidisciplinary care. Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer to help us scale and secure our development and deployment practices. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code, managing application security and compliance, and supporting our transition to Azure DevOps.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with engineering, QA, and compliance teams to ensure safe, automated, and auditable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Manage Azure infrastructure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vaults, and SQL Managed Instances
Set up and enforce branch policies, build validations, and release pipelines
Integrate SonarQube for static code analysis and ensure code quality gates are met
Own and maintain Flyway-based SQL migration pipelines to support versioned database deployments
Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using ARM/Bicep or Terraform
Automate and improve observability, alerting, and telemetry for deployed services
Ensure systems are compliant with HIPAA, SOC 2, and ONC certification standards
Collaborate with development teams to streamline build/test/deploy workflows
Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Strong experience with Azure Cloud, including App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Key Vault
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) or similar CI/CD platforms
Experience with C#/.NET build pipelines and deploying .NET applications
Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code quality tools
Comfortable with PowerShell or scripting for automation
Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in the cloud
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to Have
Experience in healthcare or regulated industries (HIPAA, ONC, etc.)
Hands-on with Flyway for database migration/versioning
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes in Azure (e.g., ACR, AKS, ACI)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Application Insights, Log Analytics, or Prometheus
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like Jira/Confluence
Exposure to GitHub Actions, Bicep, or Terraform
