Senior SAP Software Engineer

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Senior SAP Software Engineer.

We need someone to assist in developing and maintaining SAP framework solutions, supporting core business applications, and driving continuous improvements through configuration, monitoring, and integration enhancements. This role will be instrumental in SAP ECC and S/4 Hana environments.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop product specifications, system designs, and integrations for new and existing SAP applications.

Provide application support across SAP ECC R3 modules including AP, AR, FI, CoPa, MM, and PO.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with strategic objectives.

Monitor and configure SAP integrations to ensure optimal performance.

Track tasks and time using Azure DevOps.

Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to agile practices.

Consult with users, perform root cause analysis, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Provide after-hours and 24x7 on-call support as needed.

Mentor and provide feedback to team members.

Prioritize and manage workload independently, communicating issues clearly.

Travel as required and complete other tasks as assigned.

Essentials:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

10+ years of SAP software development and support experience.

Advanced experience with SAP ECC R3 configuration and ABAP programming.

Proficiency in SAP S/4 Hana, BTP, GRC, and SAP Cloud Connector.

Strong understanding of the full software development life cycle.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.

Experience working in Agile environments.

Desired:

Experience with SAP Payroll, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, and Concur.

Hands-on experience upgrading from ECC R3 to S/4 Hana.

Familiarity with implementing SAP best practices across business processes.
