AWS Cloud Engineer (TS/SCI Clearance )

Job Description

North Point Technology is seeking a TS/SCI Cleared AWS Infrastructure Engineer with Sec + or DoD 8570 compliance to support the deployment and sustainment of next-generation cloud-based systems. You'll work closely with technical and program leadership to deliver secure, scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.Key Responsibilities

Build and manage Windows Server environments within AWS

Deploy and maintain custom, COTS, and GOTS applications

Apply security patches and monitor system health

Collaborate with development teams across multiple environments (dev/test/prod)

Troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance

Contribute to system design and architecture documentationRequired Skills

Proficiency in AWS services and cloud infrastructure

Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop OS

Knowledge of system design, architecture, and networking

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies

Strong communication and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Experience deploying GIS solutions (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS, WMS, WFS, KML)

Ability to create and maintain architecture diagrams

Microsoft and/or AWS certifications
