A DAY IN THE LIFE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Workday Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Workday Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Workday solutions that align with our business needs. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing our HR and financial processes, ensuring efficient and effective use of the full Workday platform (HCM/Financials/Projects/Adaptive).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integration solutions using Custom Reports, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformations, XSLT and Workday Studio.
Develop and maintain integration between Workday and both external service providers as well as internal downstream systems.
Design, build, test and deploy Workday Extend applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday configurations and integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and enhancements, recommending changes to optimize functionality.
Participate in system testing, data validation, and migration efforts.
Provide technical expertise and support to end-users during Workday implementations for acquired businesses
Document technical designs, configurations, and processes.
Take an active role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable and repeatable business processes.
Advocate for Workday best practices.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility, listed in the A Day in the Life section above, satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of total experience, with 3+ years as a Workday Developer.
Proficiency in using Workday integration tools, such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors.
Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security model, business processes framework.
Solid understanding of HR and financial processes and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues with minimal oversight.
Must be able to use discretion in handling confidential and/or proprietary information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Workday Pro Integrations certification required.
Experience with SOX controls desired.
