About the Role:

The Route Driver CDL plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to various locations within the designated route. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as drivers will interact with clients and represent the company during deliveries. The primary goal is to maintain a high level of efficiency while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Additionally, the Route Driver will be responsible for conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. This is a touch freight position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Must be able to operate manual transmission

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.

Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.

Load and unload experience.

Responsibilities:

Operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations according to a planned route.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns during deliveries.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
