Biomerics is a leading provider of laser processing services and contract manufacturing of medical components and assemblies to a wide range of customers throughout the United States and internationally. The company develops and implements leading-edge part-specific manufacturing processes utilizing such high-tech manufacturing tools as rapid prototyping, automation, PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.
We’re hiring an Extrusion Quality Technician to support the production of high-quality medical device components. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform precision inspections of extrusion parts, maintain quality records, and help ensure we meet production goals and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Inspect extrusion components using handheld tools and vision systems (e.g., OGP).
Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections.
Complete batch release documentation and maintain accurate quality records.
Communicate quality issues clearly with production and engineering teams.
Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
College or Technical College education preferred
Minimum 5-yrs experience in the medical device manufacturing environment preferred
Competent experience with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Competency with handheld dimensional inspection equipment and Automated Inspection Equipment
Experience in creating inspection reports
Competency performing Final Inspection of Extrusion Components
Must be able to follow written instructions and procedures
Must possess good organizational skills
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
