Title: Information Systems Security Manager Employee will serve in an ISSM role and perform tasks related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) and cybersecurity policy and procedure development under KBR Information Assurance to obtain and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATOs) for assigned systems (i.e., applications, networks, devices). This position will administratively report to the Site Enterprise Information Management Systems Manager to help develop recommended courses of action needed to develop, enact, and enforce cybersecurity practices across the assigned site and systems.

Primary Responsibilities: u2022 Provide solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of expertise and creativity.

Problems are broadly defined and solutions require the continuation of specialized theories and knowledgeu2022 Serve as the onsite face of the Information Assurance Operations Organization, and provide and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge on matters related to A&A activities in a multiple enclave and network type environments.u2022 Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needsu2022 Actively lead and participate in regular A&A status meetings with government and contract personnel to facilitate progress and address potential issues of RMF system effortsu2022 Participate in sessions aimed at identifying, planning, and executing strategies in response to emerging cybersecurity/RMF policiesu2022 Maintain awareness and knowledge of evolving security and risk management standards and communicate and apply relevant changes to existing processes Day-to-day tasks may include the following:u2022 Develop, update, and/or review RMF documentation to include Security Plans, Implementation Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Risk Assessment Reportsu2022 Assess system compliance against NIST, DoD, and IC security requirements to include the NIST 800-53 and 800-171 controls, and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs)u2022 Produce evidence as necessary to support compliance status of applicable RMF security requirementsu2022 Work with system administrators, engineers, and developers to create or update system/site policies, procedures, and process guides u2022 Coordinate with site and systems SMEs to identify and develop authorization boundary diagrams, architecture diagrams, and hardware and software inventoriesu2022 Analyze vulnerability scans of information systems and assist in remediation tasks u2022 Participate in a weekly meeting with the KBR IA Operations team to provide system status and RMF package update, report any actual or potential issues, and seek advice as need from the team.

u2022 Lead or attend meetings with system stakeholders to discuss statuses of effortsu2022 Submit weekly reports to leadership regarding system/program status Minimum Qualifications: u2022 BS degree and ten (10) years of experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology, or fourteen (14) years of hands-on experience with Cybersecurity / Information Technology u2022 Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing ISSM or ISSO duties in classified environmentsu2022 Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibilityu2022 DoD 8570-compliant certificationu2022 Demonstrated experience with Risk Management Frameworku2022 Demonstrated efficiency and experience in RMF package development, including POA&Ms (mitigation statements), Security Plans, Risk Assessments, architecture diagrams, hardware/software inventories, and system/site policies, procedures, and processesu2022 Familiarity and experience with tools such as eMASS, ACAS, SCAP Tool, Xactau2022 Familiarity with NIST publications u2022 Experience in RMF policy development, process improvement, and strategy implementationu2022 Experience in assessing systems using NIST 800-53 and/or DISA STIGs and SRGs u2022 Excellent customer service and organization skillsu2022 Excellent oral and written communication skills Belong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
