Terra Energy is seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician to join our field operations team in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems related to residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar energy projects. The Electrician will ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards, and will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality energy solutions to our clients.Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).

Perform wiring and interconnection of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage systems.

Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve malfunctions or safety issues.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.

Conduct site assessments to determine electrical needs and scope of work.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and installation crews to ensure timely and accurate execution of projects.

Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, inspections, and testing.

Ensure job site safety and compliance with company and OSHA standards.

Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior technicians.Qualifications

Required:

Current Texas Electrical License ( Master Electrician) required.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician, preferably with solar or renewable energy systems.

Strong understanding of NEC and state/local electrical codes.

Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to work in outdoor environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred:

NABCEP certification or experience with solar PV systems.

Experience with battery storage technologies and smart inverters.

OSHA 10 or 30 certification.What We Offer
