Construction Estimator (Commercial Renovation)

Construction Estimator - Renovation & Remodel experience is a MUST

We are a growing commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvements, ground-up construction, and interior buildouts across Dallas-Fort Worth.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating and a strong understanding of construction documents, takeoffs, and bid preparation.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and proposals

Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing

Perform subcontractor pre-qualification

Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes

Prepare detailed and competitive estimates for a variety of commercial projects

Collaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstruction

Assist in value engineering and cost-saving recommendations

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage, or similar)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Experience estimating ground-up construction projects, tenant improvements, and interior buildouts.

Must be familiar with the local market and have good relationships with vendors and subcontractors.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Valid Texas Driver’s License

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in commercial tenant improvements and interior renovations

Familiarity with projects in the DFW area
