Location: Minneapolis, MN

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am

Wage: $22 – $24/hr. (with shift differential)

Duties of the punch press trainee:

Train to set up and operate punch press, laser, and other sheet metal machines

Assist in metal stamping and forming processes

Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively

Read and interpret blueprints (a plus!)

Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools

Keep work area clean and follow all safety protocols

Requirements of the punch press trainee:

2+ years of experience in manufacturing or auto mechanics is a plus

Trade school degree in mechanics or related field preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

Comfortable using micrometers and calipers for part inspection

Solid shop math and measuring skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Dependable and motivated to grow with the company
