Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Estimator to join our growing team. This role is critical in preparing accurate, timely, and competitive proposals for complex remediation, civil, field service, and industrial service projects. Key Responsibilities

· Develop comprehensive technical proposals, including scope, cost estimates, and schedules.

· Prepare detailed construction documentation: work plans, submittals, health & safety plans.

· Assemble professional bid packages and ensure quality and compliance.

· Conduct construction and civil drawing reviews and accurate estimating take-offs.

· Calculate final project quantities: earthwork, trench lengths, backfill, tank volumes, etc.

· Utilize industry-standard volume estimation software/tools.

· Attend site visits, bid walks, and interpret technical bid documents.

· Understand and interpret contracts, specs, and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Analyze financial implications of project estimates, including P&L, margins, and budgets.

· Coordinate and negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.

· Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company in a professional manner.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams during bidding and project handoffs.

· Comply with all company SOPs and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT, DEP).

Qualifications

· Strong background in environmental remediation, excavation, and facility closures (UST/AST).

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Skilled in Microsoft Project for schedule development and management.

· Solid understanding of regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, DEP, EPA).

· Experience in managing vendors, subcontractors, and supplier negotiations.

· Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and estimatesCompany Description
