Job Description
We are seeking an Associate Process Engineer with experience in cable harnesses and printed circuit board assembly. This role focuses on process setup, documentation, and labor quoting.
Responsibilities:
Develop process work instructions and related documentation.
Support sales with new business quoting.
Analyze and interpret drawings to create bills of materials.
Build first-piece articles for new assemblies.
Set up, operate, test, and troubleshoot assemblies and machines.
Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with other departments to meet production deadlines.
Support new process development for equipment and assembly stations, including documentation.
Knowledge & Education:
Degree in Electronics or Manufacturing, or a High School Diploma with relevant experience.
IPC-610 and IPC-620 certification is a plus.
Skills & Experience:
Two years of technician experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Excel is required.
Strong computer skills.
High attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
$60K–$70K based on experience ($85K–$90K for candidates with a four-year degree and additional experience).
Generous PTO (accrual begins after a 90-day probationary period, earning 6.5 hours per month, with the option to borrow in advance).

Location & Hours:
In-person role based in Rochester Hills, Michigan, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.
Front Office Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7 AM–3:30 PM (1-hour lunch).
Manufacturing Floor Hours: 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday.Company Description
