Remedy is honored to have been selected to support an innovative manufacturer as they embark on a vital search for a Maintenance Supervisor, based in their Fulton, NY location. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role involves leading a team consisting of a Maintenance Technician, Custodians, Housekeeper, in support of warehouse staff and environment. They will be managing preventive and corrective maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and optimizing asset performance.

Job Title: Facilities Supervisor (Facilities Supervisor)

Job Type: Full-time/Salaried/Direct Hire/In-Person

Salary: $60,000 annually, dependent upon prior experience

Essential functions for this Facilities Supervisor role will include:

Assign, schedule, prioritize and help in the execution of site work assignments.

Ensure tasks are completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

Ensure proper training from a skill and safety standpoint for all maintenance technicians, custodians, and housekeeping staff.

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC, warehousing equipment such as conveyor system and forklift fleet, utilities, interior and exterior lighting, as well as any departmental issues.

Administrative tasks to support work task system (FMX) as well as Paycom for payroll and NetSuite for any open PO’s documentation.

Responsible for coordinating facility-related tasks in relation to company events such as our Barn and/or Warehouse Sales.

Daily logging inspections of the interior/exterior Sprinkler Riser rooms and Pumphouse Participate in energy reduction, electric and gas and assessments and support water quality testing for the site to help reduce overall cost and consumption.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises the Maintenance, Custodial, Housekeeping and vendor/contractor staff in coordination with the Facilities Manager and Site Director of Warehouse Operations.

Responsibilities include interviewing and making hiring recommendations; instructing and training on proper work methods, and assigning, planning, and scheduling work; as well as conducting performance evaluations.

We're actively seeking skilled Facilities Supervisor with the following background profile:

Education and Experience: High School Diploma required. Vocational or Technical training (HVAC/R) required. EPA Section 608 desired 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience with a diverse team and skillset required.

More than 5 years of experience in a facilities or maintenance technical role.

Special Requirements: Driver’s License Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed as be available for on call emergency event situations.

Support of yearly company special events (Barn Sale, Artisan Festival and Warehouse Sales)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Well versed with exposure to carpentry, 3 phase electric, plumbing and basic understanding of masonry and mechanics.

Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Ability to train and supervise a team while maintaining balance of accountability and engagement to ensure retention.

Equipment Used: Computer, printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, scanner, calculator, hand tools, power tools, forklift, pallet jack and grinder. Computer Software: (Basic) - Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, NetSuite and MKC CMMS Safety: Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, Gloves and ability to pass a physical exam for a respirator
