Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced fabricator with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of HVAC ductwork fabrication. The right candidate will work closely with our shop manager to ensure high-quality production of custom sheet metal components that meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate sheet metal ductwork and fittings according to blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders

Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery including shears, brakes, and plasma cutters

Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal with precision and attention to detail

Perform layout, assembly, and welding of components as required

Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Adhere to safety procedures and company quality standards

Communicate with team leads and project managers regarding material needs and timelines

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in HVAC sheet metal fabrication (preferred)

Proficiency with sheet metal tools and machines

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Strong math and measurement skills

Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Bonus Skills:

Forklift certification

Familiarity with SMACNA standards
