Ideal Candidates will have Net Health experience as well as LTC and SNF in their background.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating patients with communication disorders. Your expertise will help individuals of all ages, from children to adults, to improve their communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patient assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.

- Administer and interpret speech and language evaluations to diagnose and treat a range of disorders, including articulation, fluency, and voice disorders.

- Provide speech therapy sessions to patients, using a variety of evidence-based techniques and strategies.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.

- Develop and implement early intervention programs for young children to promote normal communication development.

- Utilize anatomy and physiology knowledge to understand the relationship between communication and the brain and nervous system.

- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in speech language pathology to continuously improve patient outcomes.

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress.

Requirements:

- A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.

- A current certification in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

- A strong foundation in patient assessment and medical terminology.

- A commitment to providing patient-centered care and a passion for working with diverse patient populations.

- Experience working in a school or pediatric setting, with a focus on early intervention and pediatric speech therapy.

- Proficiency in anatomy and physiology knowledge, with a solid understanding of the brain and nervous system.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- A dedication to ongoing professional development and a willingness to adapt to new research and best practices in speech language pathology.
