Junior Video Editor (with Rotoscoping) - Long-Term Contract
3 days per week onsite in either Orlando or Miami, FL, and 2 days per week remote.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor with 1-3 years of professional experience to join our creative team. In this role, you will be integral in bringing our visual content to life, with a significant focus on rotoscoping and visual effects preparation. You'll collaborate closely with our senior editors and post-production team on a variety of engaging projects.
This is a long-term contract position offering a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite in either Orlando or Miami, FL, and 2 days per week remote.
Responsibilities:
Perform precise and efficient rotoscoping of various elements for visual effects and compositing.
Assist senior editors with video editing tasks, including cutting footage, assembling timelines, and adding basic graphics and text.
Prepare footage for color correction and audio mixing.
Organize and manage project files effectively.
Ensure all edits adhere to project specifications and brand guidelines.
Collaborate effectively with the post-production team, providing support as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging techniques in video editing and visual effects.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, with a demonstrable focus on rotoscoping.
Strong proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro.
Excellent rotoscoping skills using software like Adobe After Effects or similar. Please be prepared to showcase your rotoscoping work in your portfolio.
Basic understanding of visual effects workflows and compositing principles.
Solid understanding of video codecs, formats, and resolutions.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be able to work onsite in either Orlando or Miami, Florida, 3 days per week.
