The Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Rockville, MD will be responsible for:
As a Project Manager, you'll take on a key leadership role, overseeing all phases of construction projects-from pre-construction planning and budgeting to scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project closeout. You'll be accountable for delivering each project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of interior construction projects ranging from $100K to $10M+.
Create detailed project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Lead project meetings, manage RFIs, submittals, and contract documentation.
Collaborate with field superintendents to ensure on-site work aligns with project goals.
Effectively manage change orders, cost control, and project forecasting.
Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor and guide assistant project managers and project engineers. The Successful Applicant
The Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Rockville, MD will have:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in commercial construction, ideally in interior renovations or tenant fit-outs.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, methods, and local building codes.
Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, client-focused, and highly detail-oriented. What's on Offer
