Job Description

TA Staffing is looking for General Warehouse workers to help in our client's facility.

Responsibilities

Receive and check incoming pick tickets

Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy

Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks

Wrap orders before loading on trucks

Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment

Keep records of completed orders Maintain equipment and reported on malfunctions

Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards

Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components

Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications

Align material and put together parts to build more complex units

Skills

Proven experience as an order picker or other warehouse position

Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks, and other warehouse equipment

Able to read and write in English

Great attention to detail

Diligent and punctual Good physical strength and stamina

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Proven experience as assembler

Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.

Ability in using tools (e.g. clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)

Good understanding of quality control principles
