Description:

We’re looking for a Patient Access Supervisor for our East Commons and Gatehouse locations to help manage the teams responsible for all of the essential non-clinical operations including: communications, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, scheduling, payee reimbursement, insurance registration and the basic coordination of day-to-day services.

We are looking for a professional that has the experience with clerical/administration functions, confidentiality, verifying insurances, multi-tasking and works well within a team-based approach.

Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or equivalent with 5 years of healthcare record keeping experience with 4 of those years in the position of team lead or supervisor.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Must have experience in Microsoft programs, specifically Microsoft Office

The ability to accurately manage the schedules of multiple providers and multiple sites.

Ensure that all staff are following Pittsburgh Mercy policy and procedures.

Manage the workflow for the clerical team and ensure appropriate site coverage at all times.

Maintain open communication with providers, practice administrators and other staff for process improvement.

Knowledge of managed care criteria and insurances.

Must be able to obtain, criminal, child abuse and FBI clearances
