We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the driving force on-site, providing leadership and oversight to ensure that every project meets our high standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction. As our Site Superintendent, you'll show an aptitude for leadership, build positive relationship, and demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure that the design intent and project goals are met.

Role Responsibilities:

On-Site Leadership:

Oversee daily operations on the job site, acting as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, project managers and inspectors.

Safety & Compliance:

Champion safety on-site, ensuring all work adheres to local building codes and OSHA requirements. Promote a safety-conscious culture among the crew and subcontractors, identifying and addressing hazards proactively.

Quality Control & Problem Solving:

Participate in quality control for all scopes of work, including both self-performed and subcontracted tasks. Address constructability issues as they arise and work with the team to develop practical solutions.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records, including as-builts, daily job logs, and site documentation. Ensure all plans and specifications are up to date and accessible for the team.

Project Scheduling & Estimating:

Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop, manage, and execute the project schedule in Builder Trend. Contribute to estimating materials and time requirements during change orders and throughout the project lifecycle.

Subcontractor & Crew Management:

Lead and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to field crew to maximize productivity.

Foster open communication with subcontractors, addressing questions and providing solutions.

Material & Site Management:

Coordinate the timely delivery, storage, and placement of materials, ensuring the job site remains organized and efficient. Minimize material waste to keep costs in check.

Customer & Stakeholder Interaction:

Represent elliot builders professionally with clients, architects, owners, and other stakeholders. Communicate clearly, diplomatically, and respectfully, even in challenging situations.

Project Ownership:

Act as the company representative when the Project Manager is unavailable. Open and close the job site as required, ensuring security and proper handling of tools and materials.

Hands-On Leadership:

Be ready to take on a hands-on role when necessary picking up the tools and working with the field crew and trade partners to keep the project moving smoothly.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Superintendent in high-end residential construction projects

Strong knowledge of building codes, OSHA regulations, and construction best practices

Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage subcontractors, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Experience with project scheduling and estimation

Proficiency in construction management software

Must have own vehicle and tools

Working knowledge of:

all phases of carpentry

building codes, inspections and permit requirements

operation and basic troubleshooting of home mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems

fine finish care and maintenance practices

Professional and succinct communication skills

The ability to listen actively, follow instructions, take notes, ask for help, and suggest solutions

The drive to learn, develop skills, and share knowledge with others

The ability to collaborate and problem solve with others

Composure when stressed or facing difficult objectives
