About the Role
Join the Martin Technologies powertrain team as an Engine Technician and help us keep the industry’s most advanced propulsion systems running at their best. If you can tear down, build up, and troubleshoot engines with confidence, we’ll teach you the specialized skills needed to run our dynamometers. This is a hands on position with a direct growth path into full Dyno Technician duties.What You’ll Do
Assemble, disassemble & inspect engines for R&D and durability programs.
Set up test stands: fuel, cooling, exhaust, sensor wiring, and data links.
Perform functional tests (compression, leak down, oil pressure, etc.) and document results.
Diagnose mechanical issues quickly—root cause, repair, verify.
Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all lab safety protocols.
Learn dynamometer operations side by side with senior Dyno Techs—calibration, control software, and test cell procedures.What You Bring
2+ years hands on experience with gasoline or diesel engines (shop, racing, dealership, military, or similar).
Solid understanding of engine fundamentals: timing, fuel/air, lubrication, cooling.
Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and basic schematics.
Comfortable with hand tools, torque specs, precision measuring devices.
Strong teamwork and communication skills; detail driven record keeper.
Willingness to work occasional off shift or weekend hours to meet test schedules.
Bonus points for: dyno exposure, welding/fabrication, or CAN bus data logging.Why Martin Technologies
