Warehouse/Shipping Associates needed in Conroe

Temp-to-hire

Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm

Paying $17.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

Sort and stage all orders prior to shipping

Place received materials into proper warehouse storage locations

Pull stock and return it to the correct location

Enters shipping data (UPS, FEDEX, Parcel Post, etc.) using appropriate scales, computer programs, forms, and measurements.

Distribute material to various production units in a timely and accurate manner to insure adherence to production schedules.

Read work order or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers requiring movement to designated location.

Open containers, load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.

Review shop packet work sheets, pick required parts and review for accuracy.

Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.

Stack or assemble materials into bundles and bands bundles together.

Ensure inventory levels and location accuracy of all parts and report to

Verify availability and expedite missing parts and retrieve material in a timely manner to maintain production schedules.

Operate equipment to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Follow all 5S practices and support lean activities, as well as safety regulations policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Have earned a High School Diploma or GED

Be able to communicate effectively with other employees and departments

Demonstrating effort to developing a team relationship
