React Native Developer

Job Description

Salary: 75,000 - 120,000

As the Drive Prodigy Learning Management System (LMS) grows, so does our team. The position of React Native Developer is a long-term position and will focus on the long-term success of Drive Prodigy LMS.

Drive Prodigy LMS is the only behavior-based learning management system on the market, servicing Safety and Compliance with integration with Sim-Tech Simulators and customizable hands-on training. Industries include and are not limited to - CDL compliance, Military, Law Enforcement, Fire / EMS, First Responders, Teen Drivers, and all other Excel Driver Services and Simulation Technology clients industries.

The React Native developer position is available as a full-time In Office position as a part of the team, and will work under the direction of the Director to design, build, and maintain technologies including mobile applications, web applications, APIs, and other related LMS features as scoped.

Responsibilities

Design and build mobile technologies under the direction of the Director.

Work with product teams and other stakeholders to build user-friendly web and mobile applications

Work with end users as needed to resolve bugs and other issues.

Maintain existing code bases using best practices.

Monitor health of production environments.

Work with the Director to document planning and sprint work

Use Azure DevOps for project management and task tracking

Work with internal and external stakeholders to document solution requirements and design appropriate systems and applications.

Ensure any necessary integrations between systems are completed while respecting requirements, project timeline and budget.

Ensure that modern best practices are implemented across all solutions.

Create technical documentation for all requirements, systems, and processes.

Participate in testing of systems and integrations as required.

Technical Skills

Experience building mobile applications using React Native mobile technologies.

Experience working with mobile APIs.

Experience working with Geo Maps and Google location services.

Working knowledge of SQL Server databases in a production environment.

Experience with Git version control

Experience designing and building user-friendly UX / UI.

Experience with development practices across many different platforms (web, mobile, desktop, etc.) and repository tools such as Git.

Knowledge of Entity Framework tools for .NET.

Candidate Requirements

Up to date on modern best practices.

Five years of experience building mobile applications is preferred.

Three years of experience building web applications is preferred.

Some experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) is preferred.

Ability to work in a collaborative environment with other developers, product leads, and stakeholders.

Strong communication skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to work under direction.
