As an Assistant Store Manager at Huk Gear, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our retail operations. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day functions of the store while fostering a positive and high-energy environment among the staff. Your leadership capabilities and dedication to providing excellent customer service will contribute to our mission of delivering the best experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing processes.

Lead, mentor, and develop employees to deliver exceptional performance and customer service.

Ensure that store merchandising meets company standards and reflects the Huk brand.

Support inventory management processes, including stock control, sales reporting, and replenishment.

Drive sales by engaging customers and understanding their needs.

Coordinate with the Store Manager on training and performance evaluations.

Handle customer inquiries and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Job Type:

Full-time

Compensation:

$17 to $20 per hour based on relevant experience

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling, with shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours

Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts as required

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required

2-3 years of retail experience, prior supervisory experience is preferred

Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales goals

Excellent leadership and team-building abilities

Exceptional communication and customer service skills

Ability to analyze sales and operational data effectively

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Proficient in basic computer skills

Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform tasks related to maintaining the store
