We are looking to add an experienced CMM Programmer with an emphasis in aerospace manufacturing to our team. This is a full-time, on-site, day-shift position.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CMM programs to support First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections using Calypso software
Ability to set-up and operate CMMs
Interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications as needed to ensure CMM programs measure and record all necessary implicit and explicit customer requirements
Complete first article inspection documentation in accordance with AS9102
Create non-conformance reports as necessary
Maintain excellent communications and working relationships with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Production
Train CMM operators on inspection processes and equipment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proficient in CMM programming
Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and Form, Fit, and Function principles
Understanding of AS9102 First Article Inspection process
Proficient in 3D CAD Software: NX and CATIA
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Works well independently and in a team environment
Inspection Methods and Techniques, including GD&T application and interpretation
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and MSWord with efficient keyboarding skills
Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus
Applicant must be knowledgeable and experienced in manufacturing processes
Work Environment:
Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
