Power Grid Components (PGC) is seeking an accomplished Warehouse Distribution Director to lead operations in a 250,000-square-foot distribution center handling a diverse mix of high-volume SKUs, ranging from small items to heavy/bulky materials. This leadership role requires deep expertise in setting up and launching new distribution facilities, managing large-scale teams, overseeing quality standards, and driving KPI performance across supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in lean process management, inbound and outbound freight scheduling, consigned inventory management, and compliance with government tariff regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Distribution Center Setup & Expansion: Lead the initial setup, launch, and optimization of new distribution centers, establishing scalable processes for efficiency and growth.
Leadership & Team Management: Direct a high-performing leadership team, ensuring strategic execution across warehouse operations, fulfillment, and supply chain functions.
Quality Assurance & Operational Excellence: Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance within distribution workflows.
KPI Development & Execution: Define and drive key performance indicators (on-time delivery, min/max volume thresholds, supply chain efficiency, freight management) to maintain superior operational standards.
Inbound & Outbound Freight Management: Optimize truck scheduling, loading dock flow, and transit timing to minimize delays and enhance distribution reliability.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Oversee consigned inventory processes, ensuring proper allocation, tracking, and reconciliation across multiple product categories.
Government Compliance & Tariff Regulations: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, and import/export laws affecting distribution operations.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Process Management: Utilize Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other lean methodologies to refine workflows and increase efficiency.
Budgeting & Cost Optimization: Monitor operational expenses, identifying cost-saving strategies while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
10+ years of experience in distribution, customer fulfillment, or supply chain operations, with a strong background in launching and scaling distribution centers.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Proven expertise in leading leadership teams, mentoring managers, and developing strategic growth initiatives.
Strong proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control tools, and freight scheduling technologies.
Deep knowledge of government tariffs, import/export laws, and regulatory requirements.
Ability to manage high SKU turnover, heavy/bulky product logistics, and multi-channel fulfillment networks.
Experience with KPI analysis, data-driven decision-making, and performance optimization.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities, negotiation skills, and financial acumen.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
