Step into a dynamic role centered around optimizing manufacturing machinery uptime through strategic and complex troubleshooting and maintenance initiatives. As the Maintenance Operations Chief, you will spearhead a cutting-edge preventive maintenance agenda, utilizing our ERP systems to manage schedules for our injection molding machinery and other site equipment. Core Competencies:
A minimum of three years' experience in a leadership capacity, guiding teams to success.
At least seven years' maintenance expertise in sectors such as aviation, automotive service, HAVAC, and factory or facility environments.
Preferably equipped with technical certification or an associate degree in a relevant industrial domain.
Skilled in interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics for accurate diagnostics.
Exceptionally skilled in troubleshooting diverse mechanical issues. Your Mission:
Ensure optimal functionality of injection molding and ancillary equipment.
Conduct repairs and maintain facility systems, fixtures, and automation machinery.
Engage in equipment adjustments, lubrication, diagnosis, and operation within control system protocols.
Collaborate with teams to safely and efficiently execute required repairs.
Manage and report repair activities, maintaining diligent records of parts and materials used.
Adhere to safety regulations including lifting protocols and machinery operations. Employ PPE where necessary.
Involvement with the installation and retrofit of new machinery technologies.
Demonstrate basic machining capabilities to refine operations.
Drive strategic parts sourcing and inventory maintenance to prevent operational downtime. Essential Qualifications:
Stellar communication, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and random drug testing.
Agrees to confidentiality and non-compete terms.
Capable of standing and walking throughout shifts with reliable visual and auditory senses.
US Citizenship is required, and must be English fluent in reading and writing.
Physical strength to perform duties such as bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds unsupported.
Possesses a valid driver's license with readiness for necessary travel.
Proficient in:
Long-range preventive maintenance planning.
Comprehensive heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Advanced mechanical troubleshooting capability.
Safety-focused machine evaluations.
