Salary:
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organizations IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and efficiency. This role involves managing internal IT operations, coordinating with external vendors, and implementing technology solutions that support business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain strong relationships with the helpdesk support vendor.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Coordinate with the vendor to address any issues or improvements needed.
Oversee the maintenance and upgrades of the companys IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Lead IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT management and vendor coordination.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Bilingual: English and Spanish (billingual skills required).
On-site work required (Houston location).
