Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions.
Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and medication administration.
Qualifications:
Current RMA certification in Virginia.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A passion for providing excellent care and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
About the Role:
As an RMA at Martha Jefferson House, you will be crucial in providing high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with our team will ensure our residents receive the best care possible.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic health records
Experience working with seniors with dementia or Alzheimer's
Responsibilities:
Administer medications to residents according to physician orders
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding resident care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records
Skills:
As an RMA, you will use your strong attention to detail and communication skills to ensure accurate medication administration and vital sign monitoring. Your ability to work collaboratively with our team and maintain accurate resident records will be essential to providing high-quality care. Additionally, your experience working in a long-term care or assisted living facility will allow you to provide compassionate care to our residents. Your proficiency in electronic health records and ability to communicate effectively with residents will be highly valued.
