McCall Farms Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our financial operations related to incoming payments and revenue management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and maintaining healthy cash flow. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties

Assist AR clerks with daily cash postings/pulling deduction back-up, etc. to ensure that lockbox and ACH deposits are posted timely and accurately.

Assist order entry specialists as needed with all incoming manual and EDI order to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Process daily transmission of invoices once posted. Review AR aging. Work with credit and collections specialist on aged accounts.

Clean up any invoice issues and support customer inquiries regarding incorrect invoices, rejected shipments, etc.

Close out monthly AR period.

Set up new customer addresses in Sage and Merchant systems.

Approve deductions for GL write-offs.

Process anywhere from 150-200 invoices on a daily basis. Up to 300 during busy season.

Balance and post cash deposits ranging from 20-100 checks daily with a total ranging from $800,000 to $2 Million.

Process manual and EDI orders ranging from 50-250 per day.

Other duties may be assigned.

Management Responsibility:

Responsible for managing 4 employees.

Approval of time off requests, expense reports and team activities for the accounting employees.

Cross-train employees within Accounting department.

Delegate new tasks/processes to appropriate employees within the department.

Responsible for making daily bank deposits.

Responsible for handling all cash received and credit card payments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in accounts receivable management or similar roles (6+ years)

Proficiency in accounting software and financial software is essential.

Strong understanding of credit analysis, revenue cycle management, and account reconciliation.

Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.

Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy.
