Our Electrical Engineers develop electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.

What You Can Expect:

Enable the Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing aircraft technology.

Joining a team that performs research into advanced concepts and prototypes for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.

A team that is responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test.

Simulation and modeling are utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offset some Flight Test verification.

Position Responsibilities:

Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s OR equivalent combination of technical education and experience

Experience with avionics or electronics related hardware or software systems

Experience with data analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Experience in developing or integrating Mission Systems for military aircraft

Experience with electronic system design, code and test

Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases

Experience with an OMS implementation

Experience with Multi-Level Security (MLS) implementation

Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process

Familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence

Completed security clearance background investigation within the past 5 years

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range:

Level 3: $96,050 - $129,950
