Sr Systems Programmer

Job Description

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Sr Systems Programmer to work with a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 3 days/week onsite.

What you'll do:

Write or debug programs to maintain and control computer systems software, such as operating systems, networked systems, and database systems.

Provide technical and disaster recovery expertise for systems software.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.

Strong understanding of systems programming, graphical user interfaces, control languages, development, quality assurance, and implementation strategies of systems software.

Thorough understanding of currently utilized systems programming productivity tools and their use, z/OS, JCL, SDSF, Dataset management.

Ability to review and analyze systems software and recommend performance solutions.
